before i used to fear orochimaru but now i think he’s nothing compared to the other villains like the akatsuki’s hidan …
orochimaru does a lot of experiments on people , simply puts them in prisons and not only that , he makes wierd chemicals and all that stuff just to learn some damn jutsus and he even has to keep changing bodies and take medicines just to stay immortal…

on the other hand .. like hidan of the akatsuki … purely immortal .. nice and cool .. a little funny too … but extremely dangerous ..can even speak after his head is chopped of … nicely complaining about foolish things even after hes burned into tiny pieces.. he does not have to worry about drinking medicines or changing bodies for being immortal..

and the crap snake tells that he has ”PURE FORM OF IMMORTALITY” …. he faced a nice death for sure …

  Well I partially agree with you there, BUT… there is a reason the Akatsuki never was able to take Orochimaru out. I didn’t much care for Orochimaru a whole lot but I respected his strength and skills. If the Akatsuki couldn’t even kill him, and there are how many of them?, then that is someting to be feared I think. Like Suigetsu said, the only reason Sasuke was able to kill him is because he was “given” the opportunity. For all his talk and immortality, Hidan is still very much in the ground and harmless now. Example: I don’t necessarily “like” Marilyn Manson as a person, but I do respect some of his music and his “shock rock” way of becoming successful. Granted I’m sure he is not actually that weird and demented, but it gets people to buy his stuff. Anyway, I would not call myself a Orochimaru fan but I did have grudging respect for him because you have to admit that he was extremely powerful and they built such a mysteriousness around him that kept you asking yourself “WOW, Just how powerful IS this guy?”. As a mysterious, skulking in shadows, deranged, psychopathic villain goes, he stood up there in the top ranks in my opinion.
