    If you pay attention to episodes before, he should have 100x more chakra than he does but that 100x is keeping the nine tails from escaping his body, Master Jiraiya says that himself and says that Naruto should be ALOT stronger than he is but in battle he isn’t only fighting his enemy, but he is also fighting the temptation of unleashing the nine tails’ power.
    Thus proving the fact Naruto is strong and probably is the strongest character

      In short, Naurto later on becomes more powerful when he has access to Sage mode, but he only gets a moment’s burst -Still Powerful though- and after a while he controls the chakra of the nine tails and gains access to his Nine Tail’s Chakra making him the strongest character, but with a fun twist of his strong-headed attitude.
      
      I watch the subs(which are awesome), because dub episodes take to long, but I still go back and watch them. XD
