DBZ made anime big in america and is legendary in Japan and the U.S. its fighting scenes are still some of the best ever and is the anime/manga all other anime/manga strive to be like. But DBZ had alful story telling, it was decent in the beginning with the saiyans and frieza sagas but after that it was alful and always came down to the big bad is going to destroy the world how will goku come in a beat him. DBZ put aside all other characters to the point were they all cried for goku every fight. They didnt have any storylines for themselves and all stopped while goku got stronger and stronger and instead of taking they story to another level with gohan they made goku the big main character again and GT was just the worst kid goku really i try to forget about it. Naruto is a great anime/manga and is almost as big and legendary as DBZ the characters all grow and get stronger over the coarse of many storylines, they have teachers and all face challenges to there character and grow to become better people as the story goes on, the characters like naruto and sasuke do have simularitys compaired to goku and vegeta but also are completly different at the same time. The world is better, the fighting is sometimes better and the story grips you from the beginning of naruto all the way to the latest episode/chapter of the manga. When it comes down to it every manga/anime must have great characters that grow, change and get powerful and get some screen time were they fight there own battles and not wait for the main character to save them, you must become in love with the world and care about the characters and the story and Naruto has that way more than DBZ, every storyline in DBZ always gets down to how will Goku save the universe were Naruto has more complex characters, villians and storys Naruto may look up to DBZ as a insperiation like other animes/mangas but naruto in my opinion is way better that anything DBZ has put out. DBZ is legendary and the battles are awesome but Naruto just pulls me in and keeps me there, plus the battles are pretty awesome too. Naruto has suppased DBZ and will be just as legendary and looked up too when it ends like DBZ is today. BELIEVE IT!
