wow guys…it seems you can’t put together all of the clues…well, but consider this: first of all, Itachi is really good and he did all that stuff to protect the village and Sasuke, and he stayed alive just long enough for Sasuke to kill him for what he did to his clan. anyway, about madara: nothing is confirmed yet, but I do not believe it’s really him. it’s true that someone has to be in the afterlife to be resurrected with kabuto’s jutsu, and if madara was revived then it can’t really be him behind the mask. i think it was one of the elders (something with a K? i forget…) because of several clues you’re just going to have to look up. and plus, whenever tobi refers to ‘himself’ he uses 3rd person (considering he really is madara, which again, i don’t think he is), but then he also talks about himself using first person. also, madara would be like so old, even though i think he has an immortality jutsu? or at least that’s what i thought. and you should know that in the world of naruto, almost nothing is as it seems (take itachi’s case for example). anyway, we’re just all going to have to wait for the truth to be revealed (no telling how long that will take). and he is definitely not obito, because obito died, and he was far younger than tobi is. also, when he is introducing himself to sasuke, he calls the elders ‘old geezers’ (or thinks it), so wouldn’t that mean he would have to be at least slightly younger then them? so definitely not madara uchiha. another theory is that it is madara in another body, but i’m not sure i believe that either, mostly because of what i pointed out earlier, that a soul has to be in the afterlife in order to be ressurected (the none of the kages can be resurrected). i don’t read the manga, so i’m not exactly sure of everything in there, but i’ve watched all of the episodes (subbed) and i read the wiki. even though the wiki says that madara is tobi, i think it’s just because he claims to be. but keep in mind that just because someone claims to be something doesn’t mean it’s really true, because more often than not, you’ll be proved wrong (i will bring up Itachi again, simply because he is the easiest example).

I think i have a good guess to who tobi is … i think he shisui,… itachi rival. In episode 135 at 7:14 it talk about how shisui was know as the teleporter which may lead to the fact that Tobi can also teleport and has the sharigan with a unique pattern. (SPOILER)And its shown in the manga that Tobi is not Madara 

all itachi did was try to protect sasuke but in the end sasuke kills him thats messed up  -_-
