Sasuke is an idiot. why does he want to destroy the leaf village if his brother gave his entire life to save it and suffered through it all anyway.His thinking is contradictory.He hates the people who gave him the order to kill his clan.But he wants revenge on the people his brother wanted to save.He is just as stupid as Naruto.No offence. They are both awsome.But even naruto wouldnt have done that.Itachi you are awesome and sasuke i dont understand why you want to kill what your brother spent his hole life trying to protect.IDIOT!!!!!!

I understand Sasuke’s thinking. From his POV, he hated his brother practically his entire life because of the leaf elders. Yes, if Itachi would’ve told him from the start what was going on, he wouldn’t have hated him….but Itachi never would’ve had to go through any of that (the killing, the lying, etc.) had it not have been for the elders. It’s their faults Sasuke suffered so much throughout his life and not his brother’s as he originally thought. In his eyes THEY made him hate someone he held near and dear to him. The only person he had left. THEY made the most important person to him (Itachi) suffer in his lifetime. Suffer with the hate of Konoha and more importantly, his own little brother whom he loved more than anything. More understanding will come later on in the show though after certain events take place. The subbed hasn’t even reached those events yet…

  Needless to say… I love the Leaf Village and wouldn’t want to see it destroyed, nonetheless…. I just understand where he’s coming from. You have to absorb the character’s story and then decide on if they’re being “stupid” or not. Their lives alter their way of thinking. Put yourself in that situation and wonder if their reaction is too far off from a considered “normal” reaction to what they’ve been through… His is pretty spot on considering his personality….”the avenger.”
