This is probably the only moment Naruto understood Sasuke. In a sense. It makes everyone a bit of a hypocrite. They tell Sasuke that getting revenge is evil and stupid. However, people like Naruto and Shikamaru lose their masters to the Akatsuki, and get revenge for them. It’s glorified when they do it. But when Sasuke’s loses his entire FAMILY, they call him foolish and bitchy for wanting to avenge them. Why is that? I’m glad that later in the story, Naruto tells Sasuke he understands what Sasuke is doing and never actually says what Sasuke’s doing is wrong, but it still makes them enemies.
