  Do you have an older brother? Believe it or not talking down to their younger brothers all the time is sort of what older brothers do. If you think of Naruto as Sasuke’s little brother then it makes more sense. I mean little brothers love their older brothers despite being picked on by them constantly (I know personally btw) and if your older brother was going down the wrong path (say taking drugs or joining gangs) i bet you’d try to stop him no matter the cost.
