      because naruto never had any family so when he became best friends with sasuke it was the first time he knew what it felt like to have a brother. It’s really like he’s looking to bring his big brother back home, it’s not like he’s just searching to control some randoms person life or dictate one of his friends life. Sasuke isn’t just a friend, naruto considers him to be his ONLY family. To lose that one and only true familial bond naruto has would be too devastating to bare.
