      Formation Ino-Shika-Cho is famous and revered in the ninja world (from their parents). Its not the Shika-Cho formation.

    Seems like other than team Kakashi, Shikamaru is also kind of a main character. He gets a lot of screen time and they seem to spend more time on him anyway. I don’t see anybody complaining, though. I’m definitely not.

    shikamaru used his right hand but hidan picked it up with his left hand

    this whole anime is about being a hyper aware ninja.. but ive noticed a bunch of inconsistency’s like this one

    This is the one part of the dub I absolutely loathe. In the sub, Shikamaru’s dad says “I’ll pick up the pieces.” which initially sounds incredibly shallow as if he’s only thinking about the shogi pieces, but after a few moments, you realize it’s much more than that.

    In the dub, he says “I’m here for you.” which I’m sure they meant to sound more loving and fatherly, but when he’s seen saying it while walking away, it gives the completely wrong message and I think only serve to enforce the misconception they were trying to avoid.
