    Is it just me, or did this suddenly become less interesting since watching the subbed episodes? I love Naruto, but I feel like the plot would be better understood if it was in the english version.

      I love the English dub at lot more but after months of watching English sub of newer Naruto episodes, I’m so used to it I don’t even care anymore.

        Actually, this episode wasn’t really labeled as a filler when the creators of the show did the animation. They decided to add this to the Naruto saga to allow the audience to at least get a glimpse of all the tailed beasts. So Utakata is a tailed beast needless to say which the Akatsuki captures as well.

    at the layer in episode 142 Tobi said that all but the 8 tails and 9 tails had been captured but how come the six tails is still alive, isn’t he supposed to be dead? and Im pretty sure this episode isn’t a flashback because team 8 and 7 just had finished perusing saskue and were returning to the village.
