      People don’t like Danzo and Sakura here… I think it’s cause everyone loves Itachi and Danzo, in theory killed Itachi. I don’t see anyone hating on the other village elders though… or the Uchiha themselves for plotting a civil war. 

      Sakura seems less annoying in the dubbed, her voice is a little deeper.

    This is my second, maybe eighth, time watching this episode.
    There are some subtle things that happen in the Ao-Foo struggle you may have overlooked.

    So when Foo gives up his body to piggyback Torune, he actually transfers his mind into the puppet and waits for Ao. Then he / puppet jumps at Ao & throws 1 of his sickle weapons. Ao instinctively subdues the puppet but is forced to investigate whether the object is still alive/active. Then Ao gets sealed by the jutsu.

    They talk for maybe 5 minutes. Foo (because he is a fellow-sensory type ninja) uses Ao’s body & his own chakra skill to sense if anyone is close by. When he senses Mizukage & Chojuro close by, he changes his plan. It is more than likely that the Mizukage was already there waiting & listening, which is why she jumped in at the last moment (to make sure she got back the real Ao). Foo almost kills himself, since he didn’t release the jutsu, like he said he would earlier. He couldn’t guarantee she would intervene in time, but he guessed right and she does. Unfortunately for Foo, she’s a woman – one who pays careful attention to everything. Hahah!!

    Its explained that in the hidden mist they had to fight their fellow students not necessarily their best friend, sai and his brother just happened to be best friends. in order to unlock the mangekyo you have to kill your best friend or someone really close to you. fellow classmates dont really fall under being really close, they are just classmates.
