      Because author Kishimoto is incredibly repetitious on his earlier storylines. His best work is way behind him. Though I am glad that he kept Deidara around after Sasori left…AGAIN.

          You’re so right about everything. My older sister and I watch and discuss this series together; I’ve often said, “Naruto is supposed to be able to turn anyone into a friend, even a former enemy like Gaara. How I wish that Naruto had befriended Deidara, then Dei would’ve been saved.” (And we don’t like characters getting “warm and fuzzy” and giving up the ghost, as poor Sasori did)

    Deidara is right about one thing, Sai will never be like Sasuke. He’s a weakling, like you!, he said.
    That’s when Sai’s rage face came to play. Took it long in ep 238, and in this episode for Sai to know what bonds is. Now he knows when he heard his Edo’s brother’s final words.
